PAWS is a nonprofit group that supports low-income people
in San Francisco living with AIDS and other disabling illnesses. The funds
raised at this year's event will help PAWS provide ongoing support for
additional new clients in 2007. The organization provides comprehensive
services designed to enable people with AIDS and other disabling illnesses
to keep their animal companions. Services include a pet food bank, subsidized
veterinary care, dog walking and much more. Now as awareness of the benefits
of the human-animal bond grows, PAWS' work is more important than ever!
