Petchitecture 17 was a big success! Over $225,000 was raised to support PAWS' services to help low-income seniors and disabled people live independently with their pets. This year the event was held on Friday, May 11 at the Palace Hotel in San Francisco. Petchitecture is PAWS’ signature fundraiser. All net proceeds support our mission to make sure that illness or age never separate people from the unconditional love of their pets.
Over 750 human guests and their well-behaved canine companions were treated to a gala evening unlike any other in San Francisco, including an exhibition of one-of-a-kind pet habitats created by some of the Bay Area’s leading architects and designers. A live auction featured fabulous lifestyle packages and throughout the evening guests bid on valuable items contributed to our silent auction while dining on the Palace’s award-winning cuisine. In addition, some of the most talented animal photographers in the Bay Area were on-hand to catch that perfect moment with guests and their pets.
